This conference is aimed at anyone with an interest in the connections between Ulster and North America and will be a serious and objective assessment of the life and career of Andrew Jackson, the Victor of New Orleans and seventh President of the United States, whose family origins can be found in the Carrickfergus area of County Antrim.
