C.S. Lewis Exhibition Launch

01 November 2016, 18:00, Linen Hall Library, 17 Donegall Square N, Belfast BT1 5GB

Runs to 01 November 2016

The Ulster-Scots Agency will be launching a new C.S. Lewis exhibition at the Linen Hall Library on 1st November.

C.S. Lewis and the Island of his Birth exhibition reflects on the influence of Ulster-Scots' roots on his life, writings and the characters within his stories.  It is a heritage which gave rise to the flourishing of Lewis' creative and vivid imagination and has left us with a literary legacy which still stands today.

Sandy Smith, author of C.S. Lewis and the Island of his Birth, will present a talk on the history, heritage and Ulster Scots connections of C.S. Lewis drawing out his links with familiar locations in Belfast and across Northern Ireland.

If you wish to attend this event please rsvp to cholmes@ulsterscotsagency.org.uk.  A light supper will be provided.

The exhibition will be on show at the Linen Hall Library until 30th November.
