Eagle Wing Celebrations at Cockle Row Cottages

This summer North Down Borough Council and the Ulster-Scots Agency joined together to form a fantastic programme of free entertainment every Sunday during July and August at Cockle Row Cottages in Groomsport. The entertainment is in celebration of Ulster-Scots connections and the influence it has had on our culture and entertainment ever since.

On Sunday 7 September the Eagle Wing Celebrations event will to mark the season close at the cottages and entertainment will include Ulster-Scots music by The Woodworms, Highland dancing, children’s entertainment, baking and period re-enactors from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.

 

The cottages are open daily 11am-5pm until 7 September 2014 (Note the cottages will re-open at Easter 2015).

 

Entry is free and everyone is welcome.

Saturday – Magician and Face Painting

Sunday - Balloon Modelling, Glitter Tattoos, Children’s Crafts, Eagle Wing Re-enactments, Cooking

Demonstrations and Traditional Live Music by The Woodworms.
