Great War Posters & Postcards

Great War posters now back in stock

The Ulster-Scots Agency is delighted to announce that the Great War posters are now back in stock (A1 and A3 sizes) along with sets of commemorative postcards (A5).

Due to overwhelming demand, the double set of Great War prints have been reprinted and are now available in both A1 and A3 sizes.  The first print is a reproduction of the famous painting of the Attack of the Ulster Division at the Somme on 1st July 1916, by J.P. Beadle.  The second print depicts various Ulstermen (by birth or parentage) who won the Victoria Cross during the Great War.  In addition, the Ulster-Scots Agency has printed sets of commemorative postcards, each postcard depicting the image of a VC recipient along with a brief description each man’s place of birth, and of the act of bravery for which they were awarded the Victoria Cross.

Sets of the prints and postcards are available from the Discover Ulster-Scots Centre for collection.   The centre is open Monday to Friday from 10am – 4pm.  Alternatively, you can call into the regional office in Raphoe, Monday to Friday from 10am – 3pm.  These will be issued on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.  We are unable to reserve sets, so we recommend that you call in soon to avoid disappointment.  These items are free to collect, but unfortunately it will be necessary to charge to cover postage and packing if you require them to be posted to you.  If you would like to enquire about postage rates you should contact the Ulster-Scots Community Network on (028) 9043 6710 or at info@ulster-scots.com

If you require any further information please contact Jane Wallace at the Ulster-Scots Agency on +44 (0) 28 90 231 113 or e-mail jwallace@ulsterscotsagency.org.uk
