Enjoy a night of Ulster-Scots music, spoken word, open mic and crack at Flowerfield Arts Centre, Portstewart.
This promises to be a special evening to lead into Ulster-Scots Language Week 2024. It is also the official launch of the second anthology from Ulster-Scots writers ‘Sheddas On Tha Page' who will be reciting some of their yairns on the night.
Ulster-Scots writer Anne McMaster will host the event, while Willie Drennan will be in attendance to entertain with music and chat, sharing his love of Ulster-Scots and connections and collaborations with, and across, traditions and musical genres.
If you are new to Ulster-Scots, an old hand or just curious, everyone is welcome to attend. Please note this is a cabaret style event in the Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart.
