Once Upon A Tartan Workshop

To mark Ulster-Scots Language Week, the Burnavon Arts & Cultural Centre will host a free workshop to tell a family’s story through the creation of a tartan design.
There will be a brief introduction on the background of Ulster-Scots and the history of tartan at the beginning of the session before families move onto create their own family tartan design.
At the end of the workshop participants will get the opportunity to share their finished design with the rest of the group.
The session is suitable for ages 8-11 years. All attendees must be accompanied by a parent / carer.
Admission is free, but booking is essential.
