Hosted by the Garvagh District Cultural Society, the Battle of Garvagh Commemoration Festival runs from 3rd to 6th July 2013.
This year the people of Garvagh are celebrating the bi-centenary of The Battle of Garvagh (July 1813). The Battle of Garvagh Commemoration Festival has been organised to take place from 3rd to 6th July to commemorate this historical date.
The festival programme includes musical workshops, cookery demonstrations, historical lectures, Ulster-Scots concerts and a family fun-day.
Venues will include local Church halls, Garvagh High School, Garvagh Primary School and the Local Orange Field.
