Mini-course in Scottish Country Dancing. Suitable for all ages, Saturdays 7, 14, 21 and 28 April. Classes start 2 pm and last 90 minutes. Cost is £1 per head, per afternoon.
The classes will be led by Lucy Mulholland, a local teacher with lots of experience in working with dancers of all ages and abilities. Dancing has been shown to have many physical and mental health benefits. It improves your flexibility, co-ordination and balance, the condition of your heart and lungs, and your sense of well-being. It reduces stress, strengthens bones, and sharpens your memory. So bring your children, and your friends, or just yourself, and get ready to clap your hands, stamp your feet and have lots of laughs.Flat, flexible footwear recommended.
