Ulster-Scot Competition Winners

In the August 2019 edition of the Ulster-Scot, we ran a competition for some lucky winners to receive an Ulster-Scots goodie bag.

The question was;

In what year, did Andrew Jackson's family leave Boneybefore, Carrickfergus?

The correct answer was;

Around 1765

After a record number of entries, three lucky winners were chosen at random.

The winners of the competition were;

  • A. McClure, Carrickfergus
  • Trevor Pollock, Coleraine
