School Ulster-Scots Music & Dance Tuition Programme 2022/2023

is Open for Applications

 

 

The Ulster-Scots Agency is delighted to announce that the School Ulster-Scots Music & Dance Tuition Programme is now open for applications.  Each year the Ulster-Scots Agency offers schools the opportunity to apply for funding to support Ulster-Scots music and dance tuition in their school with a maximum funding of £2,500 per school.  The aims of the School Music & Dance Tuition Programme are to offer support to schools to deliver quality Ulster-Scots tuition in music and/or dance within their school and to encourage participation in Ulster-Scots cultural activities.

Eligible Ulster-Scots music tuition disciplines are:

  • Accordion;
  • Fiddle;
  • Fife;
  • Flute;
  • Highland bagpipe;
  • Lambeg drum;
  • Snare drum; and
  • Singing. 

Eligible Ulster-Scots dance tuition disciplines are: 

  • Highland Dance; and
  • Scottish Country Dance.

Eligible dates for tuition are from 5th September 2022 until 30th June 2023.

Applications must be submitted online, please click HERE to register.  Once registration is complete, you will receive an email with the application form, supporting documents to complete and a copy of the guidelines. 

The closing date for applications is Monday 13th June 2022 at 12 noon.
