Consultation on the North/South Language Body Draft Equality Scheme

Summary

The North/South Language Body is seeking views from individuals and organisations about its Draft Equality Scheme. 

 

Consultation description 

Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 requires public authorities, in carrying out their functions relating to Northern Ireland, to have due regard to the need to promote equality of opportunity and regard to the desirability of promoting good relations across a range of categories outlined in the Act. 

This draft Equality Scheme sets out how the North/South Language Body (NSLB) proposes to fulfil the Section 75 statutory duties. 

The North/South Language Body welcomes interest in and comment on any aspect of this document.
