January 2013 Ulster-Scot Out This Saturday

16 January 2013

The first edition of The Ulster-Scot in 2013 will be available on Saturday 19th January.

With Burns Night approaching on Friday 25th January; there will be a strong focus on Burns in this edition, the strong links between Robert Burns, the people of Ulster and their traditions are explored, details of some of the community organised Burns celebrations taking place over the coming weeks are provided and our competition for our younger readers in the Wean's Wurld section is also on Burns.

The newspaper will be distributed as a supplement in the Newsletter in Counties Antrim, Down and Londonderry (note: copies of the paper may sometimes be available in the Newsletter in Counties Armagh, Fermanagh and Tyrone – please check with your local newsagent on Saturday).

The newspaper will also be available in libraries and tourist information centres across all nine Counties of Ulster from Monday 21st January onwards.  Visit your local library or TIC to obtain your free copy.

Alternatively, the newspaper can be viewed online using page turning software at www.ulsterscotsagency.com/media.  The Agency regrets that at present we do not offer a subscription to the newspaper for those based outside Ulster and we are not in a position to post copies out to individuals or groups.
