On Monday 25th January people all over the world celebrated the 251st anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns (25th January 1759). On this day, the Ulster-Scots Agency officially launched the start of ‘Robbie Burns Season’ by opening the doors of its Visitor and Information Centre on Great Victoria Street in Belfast to the general public to celebrate the work and life of the much-loved bard. more »
